Excitement Carnival is the forty-ninth episode of Puchim@s which aired on March 8, 2013.

Episode PlotEdit

This episode begins with a recap of the previous one. The next event, announced by your hostesses and commentators Ritsuko Akizuki and the ever lovely Azusa Miura and their puchidols, Chicchan and Miurasan, is the Foam Log Race. In Lane 1 is Takanya, in Lane 2 is Koami, in Lane 3 is Piyopiyo, in Lane 4 is Io and in Lane 5 is Makochi. The racers were off. Takanya was off to a spectacular start. With her incredible speed, Takanya leaves her competition in the dust. Ritsuko wonders if she has this race is in the bag. Suddenly, Komami appears and appears to sabotage the race by whacking Takanya but she evades the attack. Ritsuko wonders if victory will be hers but suddenly she catches the smell of ramen. Ritsuko is surprised that she turned back just before she reached the goal. It appears that Komami has set up a cup of ramen and Takanya had fallen for Komami's trick hook, line and sinker. Meanwhile Koami attempts to take the lead in a superb show of teamwork. Ritsuko then disqualifies both of them for cheating, which shocks them. Ritsuko points to Piyopiyo that flying is against the rules so she is out. This just leaves Makochi and Io. Makochi takes the lead but suddenly Io falls in. Makochi offers to help Io out but she refuses. Makochi then carries Io on her head and reaches the goal. Ritsuko says it's beautiful sportsmanship and Io should be disqualified but doesn't care about the rules anymore. but Makochi wins.
